Cabinet of Ministers creates council on intellectual property
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, at the initiative of the Ministry of Economy, established the Council on Intellectual Property. The body will consist of 30 people, except for the leadership it will include representatives of law enforcement agencies, private companies, public organizations.
It will be a temporary advisory body to the government, headed by its Minister of Economic Development and Trade Stepan Kubiv. The Council will be responsible for the development of intellectual property protection in Ukraine. According to Kubiw, the creation of such an institution is in line with Ukraine's obligations under international agreements in this field.
